I had a fantastic time playing Starship Troopers: Extermination. The gameplay is smooth, and the graphics are impressive, delivering a standard FPS control experience. While the build mechanic has a learning curve, basic training is available for new players to get acquainted.

The game offers a variety of classes including Assault, Support, and Defense, allowing you to choose the playstyle that suits you best and support your squad effectively. Constructing defenses using acquired resources adds depth to the gameplay, while the class progression system unlocks new weapons, equipment, and perks, making you an elite warfighter.
Encountering five unique bug types during planetside missions keeps the gameplay engaging, and escalating infestation levels ensure the challenge grows with each mission. The large-scale battles with hundreds of enemy bugs on screen deliver a sense of overwhelming planetary war.
Come On, You Apes, You Wanna Live Forever?
One of my favorite moments is the extraction from a mission, which can go two ways: either players work together to reach the drop ship or chaos ensues as people split up and run. It truly captures the essence of the intense moments depicted in the movie.
I appreciate the attention to detail, such as the bugs playing dead just like in the film. It adds an extra layer of realism and strategy to the gameplay. Although the game is in early access and has some bugs, it’s still a great experience for its current state.
